TRSI Week in Review

We had a very exciting week here at TSRI.  We have been planting starters for our garden, and cooking up a storm.  We have 3 seedlings sprouting (Roma tomato, Isis Candy Cherry Tomato and German Chamomile), I am so excited.  Munchkin is too.  The Roma tomato plant is hers.  Needless to say we have about 60 other starters and are very excited to get to the nursery this morning for mulch, manure and gypsum.  From what I understand a good mixture in my area is 1/3 existing soil, 1/3 sand, 1/3 mulch.  Mix that together and the add some manure and gypsum.  Perfect Arizona soil.  We are also starting our compost.

This is a new endeavor for us, but I am oddly excited!!!
